The EMR programme provides schools with the knowledge and experience of their local marine environment and encourages students to use their new found understanding and appreciation to take action and tackle a chosen marine conservation issue.

- Snorkelling in a non protected marine environment.
- Making comparisons between our local area and the fully protected area.
- Shared discussion and collaborative decision on an action for the marine environment.

Who would have thought that we would have to share the marine reserve with an orca whale! Lucky we all had a great view from the rocks as we dried off. Thanks Greg for a brilliant day, like no other.
